A load can shift while a truck is on the road. Pallets may lean. Boxes may fall. Stretch wrap may break. Sometimes the receiver will not unload the trailer because the load is not safe.

What Trailer Restacking Means
Trailer restacking is not the same as restocking. Restacking means fixing freight that moved inside the trailer. The job may include unloading part of the trailer, rebuilding pallets, stacking boxes again, rewrapping the freight and loading it back into the trailer.
Common Reasons a Load Needs Restacking
- Pallets leaned or tipped during the trip.
- Boxes fell from a pallet.
- Stretch wrap tore or came loose.
- A pallet broke apart.
- The receiver rejected the load because it was unsafe to unload.
- A new carrier will not take the load until it is fixed.
How the Restacking Job Works
- Send us photos and tell us what happened.
- Tell us what kind of freight is on the trailer and how much there is.
- Wait for us to confirm that we can handle the job.
- Bring the trailer to the Carrollton warehouse.
- We unload the affected freight as needed.
- We rebuild and rewrap the load based on the job.
- The freight is loaded back into the trailer for the next trip.
Coming to Us After a Rejected Load
A driver may be in Dallas, Irving, Carrollton, Fort Worth or another DFW city when a receiver rejects the load. Our warehouse is close to I-35E, so it can be a useful place to fix the freight before the next delivery attempt.
Trucks can reach I-35E from I-635, I-30 or I-20. If the load is badly shifted, drive carefully and use a commercial GPS for the safest legal route.

- Photos of the shifted freight.
- Pallet count or piece count.
- Type of freight.
- Trailer type.
- Reason the receiver rejected the load, if it was rejected.
- When the truck can arrive.
- When the load needs to be ready again.
